This patient with tuberous breast deformity had previously undergone 2 breast enlargement surgeries by another surgeon. She was very unhappy with the appearance of her breasts and had Grade III capsular contracture bilaterally. She underwent implant exchange, capsulectomies and Wise-pattern breast lift (mastopexy). Her 300cc round, high profile implants were replaced by 310cc round, moderate profile implants. The patient was delighted with the result and her breasts appeared more natural, symmetrical and now felt soft. Results are shown 6 months after the surgery.

This patient is 49 years old who had breast enlargement 15 years ago by another surgeon with anatomical subglandular (on top of the muscle) implants. She was very unhappy with the sagging appearance of her breasts and bilateral Grade III capsular contracture that had distorted the shape of her breasts She underwent implant exchange, capsulectomies and peri-areola breast lift (mastopexy). Her 280cc anatomical implants were replaced by 350cc moderate-plus implants, which were placed under the muscle via a muscle-splitting approach. Results are shown 4 months after the procedure. Her new silicone implants are softer and more natural feeling and her asymmetry and capsular contracture have been improved tremendously.

This patient presented with painful, hard breasts, and deformity of the right breast (black arrow). She had previously undergone subglandular (over the muscle) breast enlargement with 260cc round implants. Mr Karri removed both implants and capsules, and replaced them with Mentor 400cc moderate-plus profile implants. The left breast implant was found to be ruptured but contained within the capsule. Following surgery, the patient was delighted with her softer and more natural appearing breasts.

This patient presented with a swollen, hard, painful right breast. She had previously undergone a subglandular (over the muscle) breast enlargement 13 years ago. She subsequently underwent removal of both implants and replacement with Mentor 375cc moderate-plus profile implants placed under the muscle.
