The vast majority of tummy tuck patients have their surgery at a hospital under general anaesthesia which means they are often required to stay overnight. For selected patients – such as the lady pictured – Mr Karri performs full tummy tucks under sedation anaesthesia as a daycase procedure at The Karri Clinic, meaning patients are able to go home the very same day.
Many patients are unaware this is even a possibility, but Mr Karri’s innovative technique ensures patients make an excellent recovery with little discomfort – and as you can see from the images here, the muscles can still be easily tightened under sedation anaesthesia and the results can be spectacular.
