Lower Limb Lipoedema Liposuction

This patient with Type IV, Stage II lipoedema underwent 3-sessions of tumescent liposuction of her upper and lower limbs, over a 6-month period. The areas treated included the anterior and posterior lower limbs, hips, posterior arms and dorsal forearms. A total of 17.2L of fat was removed.

The patient had a smooth, uncomplicated recovery and reported elimination of soft-tissue pain. She also found it easier to wear trousers and boots.
