Capsular Contracture Surgery

This patient presented with painful, hard breasts, and deformity of the right breast (black arrow). She had previously undergone subglandular (over the muscle) breast enlargement with 260cc round implants. Mr Karri removed both implants and capsules, and replaced them with Mentor round 400cc moderate-plus profile implants. The left breast implant was found to be ruptured but contained within the capsule. Following surgery, the patient was delighted with her softer and more natural appearing breasts.
