Capsular Contracture Surgery

This patient is 49 years old who had breast enlargement 15 years ago by another surgeon with anatomical subglandular (on top of the muscle) implants. She was very unhappy with the sagging appearance of her breasts and bilateral Grade III capsular contracture that had distorted the shape of her breasts

She underwent implant exchange, capsulectomies and peri-areola breast lift (mastopexy). Her 280cc anatomical implants were replaced by 350cc moderate-plus implants, which were placed under the muscle via a muscle-splitting approach.

Results are shown 4 months after the procedure. Her new silicone implants are softer and more natural feeling and her asymmetry and capsular contracture have been improved tremendously.
