Lower Limb Lipoedema Liposuction

A patient with Type III, Stage II lipoedema who underwent 3 sessions of water-assisted (Bodyjet) liposuction. The areas treated included the hips, lateral, anterior and medial thighs, medial knees and below the knees circumferentially. A total of 12.9L of fat was removed.

The patient reported elimination of soft-tissue pain in the lower limbs, improved knee range-of-motion and improved ability to run. She also found it easier to find trousers to fit and was very pleased with the improved appearance of her lower limbs.
